A few facts an administrator might include in a letter to parents or teachers.
Blue Triangle Recommended by Paul Kienel and Dr. Jerry Haddock (ACSI), Hal Jensen of the NAVIGATORS
Blue Triangle thousands currently use MemLok - All Ages.
Blue Triangle Everyone will spend about 5-10 minutes/day 5 days a week.
Blue Triangle Choose any verse in the BIble! It is only one verse a week. Every teacher may decide to participate or not and select which verses they want to use from the system.
Blue Triangle Everyone will have their own card or logon name on MemLok.
Blue Triangle All verses will be recited at the end of each year, PLUS all the prior year's verses will be reviewed PLUS...the review will still be 5-10 minutes/day
Blue Triangle Whole classrooms can use one computer
Blue Triangle All "word pictures" PRINT out 8.5x11" in black/white for reproduction to color, (with or without the reference and Scripture) or you may print in color.
Blue Triangle Application is included. Just click Notes while reviewing. Each student has his own notes. You can also print out, reproduce and keep individual notebooks of their Application.
Blue Triangle Practice Games allows typing students to type the verse and have it correct them a word at a time, or up to the word they're on (spelling, grammar too!) Non-typists can hit the "space bar" after each word they say and it will show the correct word.
Blue Triangle There is a "Man Says" statement (sort of like a quiz) for each verse. God's Word is the response.
Blue Triangle Show/Hide allows a "White Board" effect, where you may learn a phrase at a time, erase it, and do it again.
Blue Triangle Reproduce the cards in MemLok and make them look any way you design them to be.
Blue Triangle There is a word picture to help you "Lock in" those "first key words"
Jesus said "Thus saith the Lord" or "God said" or "It is written" or "Have you not read that it was said" 92 times. That doesn't include all the times He quoted Scripture when it wasn't recorded.
What an encouragement to follow His lead by memorizing the Word!
