When on your Review Screen, click Edit/Create New Card and type in, say John 14:1-14, and click "Bible Study Tools". Goes to Internet. Copy the text from any translation, return to MemLok and paste. Most will break it up into say 3-5 verse cards. MemLok3 will re-size the fonts though so a lot can fit. AND, you can print ANY size. 3x5, 4-6, 2-3. 8.5x17. And make it "LOOK" anyway you want (22 templates, or adjust as you like em)
The review system in MemLok makes learning longer passages more effective as it keeps track so you never stop reviewing and it moves them out to less frequently for you (or you say, do it more often :)) the Practice allows 4 levels of difficulty as you learn the passage.

I want to install on my other computers, or I need to install again, or I can't find my unlock code.
Go to your computer you want to install on. Go to www.memlok.com/shop and "Log In" (UPPER LEFT). Click on My Account. Click on View Order (FAR RIGHT). Highlight the unlock code. Copy it (Ctrl C). Click on Download and follow instructions until it asks for your unlock code, then paste it there (Ctrl V).

If your computer doesn't have Internet. When on the computer that does have Internet, Log in/My Account/View Order and put your mouse on the Download link, and Right Click and you want to SAVE, not run. (You don't want to Save Link AS, since that won't get the actual file, just a link to it, and your other computer doesn't have Internet Access) Be sure you know where you're saving it. Best to save to the actual Thumb Drive. That way, you can go directly to your other computer and when you click on that file, it will install and ask for the unlock code.

When I click "Ask or Tell MemLok" or "Tell a friend about MemLok" it doesn't open up my email program!
If you click "Ask or Tell MemLok to praise us (go for it :)) or to ask a question, MemLok3 will open up your default Email program IF YOU HAVE designated one. If you haven't, you'll have issues. The various Email programs online have different procedures to make it happen. I looked up a few for you! I really want you to Email your part of the globe about MemLok3! Thanks!

When I install, it says 64 bit, won't install on my computer!"
You're trying to install MemLok2 not MemLok3 (which will work). You need to purchase the newer version because MemLok2 will not work on Vista or Windows 7. You will be able to bring all your MemLok2 work over to the MemLok3 if you have backed it up to a thumb drive or you still have the old computer. Don't try to "copy" the MemLok Folder. That won't work. Instead, you need what was produced from MemLok2 when you backed up. It creates a file called memback. Search for that. Install MemLok3 and it will ask you if you want to import from MemLok2 or MemLok3. Select MemLok2 and insert your Thumb drive or go where you have already put it from that thumb drive.

I cannot seem to log in to my account
This may be due to several reasons. You forgot your password (click Forgot password and it will come again.) You may have purchased MemLok2 before our new shopping cart, thus you just aren't in the system. Most folks have an operating system these days with Vista or Windows 7. MemLok2 will not run on them, thus, you're all set to get the new version MemLok3. Just enter a new order and you'll be happy you did! My Unlock Code never came, just my Receipt.
Remember, your unlock code is ALWAYS available for you at http://www.memlok.com/shop Just log in with your email and password you used when you bought. Look for View Order on the far right. The download link for everything you bought is there. You can also go there from the Email that says "Click here for Detailed Invoice" The only people who do not receive their code by email are ones with a spam catcher turned on. No problem. Simply follow the instructions in the "I've lost my code." section to follow. Sorry for the delay.

I cannot place my order!
Do you have a Pop-up Stopper? Some people need to turn that off when doing secure orders (Like at MemLok). Sometimes you can just hold down Control while clicking whatever won't work.

I've lost my code...my computer crashed...I got a new computer...I've lost my CD...How do I get up and running again?
No problem. (But, so sorry if you lost all your data!!! Please be sure to back up regularly - File/Backup. If you back up to a "thumb" drive, that's helpful. Some use the Internet service "Carbonite" to keep all files safe "in the cloud".MemLok3 is set to automatically keep your files backed up. You can tell it where if you don't like the default. Could be an external drive too.You can do File/import once you are on the new computer or have your old one up and running.)

Can I install MemLok on more than one computer? Yes, MemLok is licensed for a single home but includes your work computer! Remember, each computer must have Internet access. We validate the unlock code when you install it.

When I click Send Email, nothing happens?
You don't have your computer set to default to your main email client. Go to your computer's Control Panel. Search for Default Programs. Under Email, you'll see your favorite program for sending Email. Put a check mark beside it. Save that. It will now work!

I have lost my review record of about 150 verses when my computer got a virus. Is there anyway I can add these verses back into my new computer.
If you backed up to an external drive, yes. If not, hopefully you printed out your Completion Record so you know the order in which you learned them. You can also put your verses (cards if you printed them) in order from oldest to newest and "Accept" them one at a time in the software. MemLok3 backs up for you automatically in the background. Consider backing up to an external source. You would also do well to send an email to yourself and attach the backed up file to it. Then, once you get a new computer or the current one fixed, you'll open that email and be able to download it to your new computer and import it into your new MemLok installation

I have learned a lot of verses in MemLok2 and just want to enter them in Memlok3 bypassing the weekly review, Can I do that?
Absolutely – this was a popular request. Simply open the Card Library, browse, and select a card you wish to add to your review list. Then, click the “Add to Review List” link at the bottom of the form. You will be shown a confirmation dialog before the card is actually added. If you have many cards you want to add, you might want to turn off the confirmation dialog. You can quiet the confirmation dialog by checking the box that appears in the lower left-hand corner. Then, proceed from the card library to quickly browse for as many cards as you wish to add to your review list. And, did you notice on the Completion Record that you can use the arrows to move the cards in any order you want?

I want to create my own LIST of verses. Some are in MemLok. Others are mine.
A good example of this would be the Roman Road to Salvation (or, maybe you have a core curriculum at your school). Go to Print Shop/Card List/Custom List/ click on "New" Name it Roman Road. On the right hand side, click Add. Then browse your "Card Library" for the verses below (in your translation of choice) and add them! Rom 3:23; 6:23; 5:8; 10:9; 5:1; 8:1; 8:38-39 (the last one is "extra")

Is there is any way I can put the scripture reference on the side of the card with the picture?
Most certainly. At least for printing cards. Go to Print Shop Find a Card design closest to what you like for colors and the back side. Click New and save it whatever you want to name it, then, while the front is highlighted, put a check mark in the Reference box and you'll see it appear on the Front of the card.

I cannot find the MemLok I downloaded!
Press Start/Find/Find Files
Type setup.exe in "Files Named"
Make sure it is looking in "My Documents" or wherever you put it. If you didn't pay attention, look on your whole hard drive (usually c:/)
Click on it.
Guess who doesn't want you to find it.

I cannot align the verses with the correct picture.
Usually solved by selecting "Properties" after you've clicked Print. There you'll see the option of Duplex Printing. Check that. Most printers today will print one side and after a brief pause, pull the paper back in and print the other side. If you don't have that option - there are scores of printers, but there are only 4 ways that the paper can be put in before and after printing the first side. It is easiest to experiment by selecting only ONE card for printing (why waste all that ink when experimenting). Also put a big X on the paper for a reference to yourself on which way you put it in. When you get the correct verse behind the correct picture, put a sticky on your printer "MemLok prints THIS WAY, because you may not print for another three months. One sheet gives you 12 weeks of cards.
