Bible Memory Games
Practice makes perfect! MemLok makes it Fun to learn your verses! The Premium Edition gives you 5 Games to play. Each one gets harder to do. You may use all Five Games or you might find one or two favorites.
Begin by tapping My Cards>>Cards in Review>>Play.
You can find Games in two places. The easiest is the Games button located at the bottom left of the Home Screen. However, games are an easy way to accelerate your learning, so we’ve made it easy to play while you’re reviewing your verses. So, let’s start there. From the Home Screen, tap the My Cards button, then Cards in Review, and Play (upper right corner).
Tap Show Phrases
Tap on the Show Phrases bar, then tap Show.
Show, Hide, and Hide All Phrases
Start by showing the entire phrase. Repeat the phrase OUT LOUD. Next, tap Hide. Try to repeat it from memory. Do it a few times to see how much you remember. Next, one by one tap the Show and Hide buttons. Finally, tap the Hide All button. Try repeating the the entire verse from memory.
Game #2 - Fill in the Blanks
The Fill In Blanks game is fun! When you select the correct word it will fill in the blank. Words at the bottom will disappear as you choose the correct word to complete the phrase.
Game #3 - Blanks First Letter
The Blanks First Letter game will sharpen your concentration skills. You’ll start to realize you're getting better! Remember you can re-size the text to make it smaller or larger by simply tapping the larger "A" or smaller "A" in the upper right corner of your screen.
Game #4 - Blanks No Letter
The Blanks No Letter Game is similar to game 3 except there are no letter prompts to help you. The only prompt you get is the length of the word. Before you begin clicking words in order, try to say the verse OUT LOUD from memory. The words below are in alphabetical order so you can quickly find the word you want next.
Game #5 - Blanks No Length
The Blanks No Length Game is the most difficult game with no word, letter, or length prompts. The only prompt you get is a list of words at the bottom. It's up to you to put them in the correct order. Like in the previous game, before you begin clicking words in order, try to say the verse OUT LOUD from memory. The words below are in alphabetical order so you can quickly find the word you want next.
So, to sum up, tap the image to flip the card. Flip the cards back and forth to test yourself. Click Play in the upper corner. Use whatever game is most helpful to you. After 5 days MemLok will suggest you add a new card. Some verses may be easier to memorize because you are familiar with the verse. In this case you can add another card to pick up the pace.
