Praising God In Your Prison is Often Regarded as Optional. But That’s Not What the Word of God Says

Use this Simple yet Profound Secret to Be Prosperous and Successful In Everything You Do

Prison, in this case, is a metaphor for all the things and people we believe confine and trap us in our life.

We all are guilty of this attitude.

When we face difficult times, the first step is to feel disappointed, like a failure or even saying with our very own mouth

“How will this work out?

There’s no hope.

I did everything but still this happened?”

Let’s admit. Those nasty, stingy and hard-to-breath hours of our life make the darker side more prominent than how God is moving in our lives.

Remember the story in Acts 16?

Those men of God -- Paul and Silas -- were stripped and beaten for smashing the plans of the the people who were making money through a fortune teller who was delivered when Paul commanded the harassing spirit to leave that woman.

They were ultimately thrown into the prison.

Are you in a prison?

These concepts don’t characterize meditating on the scriptures at all.

What Does Your Prison Look Like?

While Paul and Silas were thrown into a literal prison, many of us are in a prison of our thoughts, our past, our condemnation, our sickness, our broken relationships, our lack of finances and more.

What does your prison look like right now?

You might be in the worst situation when compared to others but you know for a fact that this isn’t a point of comparing your situation with others. It’s a time when all you need to do is STOP looking at your prison and START looking at Jesus because Paul and Silas were singing praises to the name of Jesus.

And that’s exactly what we are supposed to do.

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them” - Acts 16:25

In the midst of our difficult times, we hardly can pray. However, singing praises unto God in the footsteps of Paul and Silas works. Because that will shake the earth and open up the doors of your prison no matter what it is.

Will You Choose to Praise God In Your Prison?

“Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone’s chains came loose” - Acts 16:26

When you  start praising God consistently, you’ll see the foundations of your prison will shake suddenly. The doors will open and you will no longer be tied with the chains.

That’s the power of praising God in your prison.

With MemLok you get to memorize all those scriptures that declare the power of praising God. Memorize and retain the verses with MemLok mobile app so the doors keep opening for you.

This is quite a unique app utilizing visual mnemonic for Scripture memorization. It is an excellent concept. It is very user friendly and allows for lots of flexibility. My favorite feature so far is that not only can you use the images in the app but you can also customize and upload your own! Also the fact that you can share it with others is very encouraging. To top it all up, I had an initial issue with access and installation, contacted the company and Drake responded promptly with genuine concern and helped me to get it all in working order. I am very pleased with this app and highly recommend it! Samisilvit
